It’s been a wild two years for Quinn Mills & The Common Era. What started out as a response to a Kijiji ad has led singer-songwriter, guitarist Quinn Mills, drummer Chris Buysse and bassist Julian Guzman to having their debut self-titled album chart as high as the Top 5 on college radio stations in the United States. They played a nearly sold out show at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto and performed at the Ontario Para Sport Games Opening Ceremony in Whitby, Ontario. QM & tCE have over 150 shows under their belt and have played other notable venues like the Silver Dollar Room in Toronto and The Music Hall in Oshawa. Their high energy, alternative rock with hints of R&B are infectious.
Quinn Mills & The Common Era’s newest song “Put Your Lead Foot Down (and drive through the dead end) is being released July 19, 2019 and is already getting rave reviews at shows. Their last single “Another Minute” just hit 70,000 streams on Spotify. Taking a break from recording their second album, Quinn Mills & The Common Era will be performing July 21, 2019 at YOUTH DAY Toronto 2019 in front of their biggest audience to date, an expected crowd of 40,000. From big dreams started with a single want-ad, Quinn Mills & The Common Era are hitting the global stage.
